HISTORIA BRITONUM: No Mordred.
ANNALE CAMBRIAE: There is Mordred/Medraut but there is nothing about his parents.
HISTORIA REGUM BRITANNIAE: Mordred is the son of Anna and Lot. Anna is Arthur's sister.

I am reading Mordred the tragedy by Wilfred Campbell and I ADORE it. Mordred is a wonderful character. Mordred is a hunchback convinced that everyone would hate him for his look (and that's exactly what happens. Merlin is the only one who really likes him). I'm at the end of Queen of Camelot.
Well, I liked it. But the idea of Mordred and Mordred's betrayal was too similar to The wicked day's idea. It seemed like reading it again from Guinevere's pov.
